Tyro Pottery & Creations

Tyro Pottery and Creations owners are, Kenneth & Jimmie Shillinglaw from Tyro, NC. We have been working with clay since Kenneth retired in 2001. During the past years we have attended different classes and training seminars to help perfect our styles. We throw on a wheel items such as vases, teapots and cups. Jimmie also slab many different style bowls, large trays , log cabins etc.

We enjoy working during the winter and building up our supply of pottery. So that when spring comes around we can start going to the different local shows in North Carolina. Our shop is outside our home and we enjoy the fact that we can just step out into the yard to get to our building.
